Its supposed to be an alien, with traffic cones on its legs. Like as trousers, but for some reason i felt complelled to give this rather 'cartoony' character a really harsh grungey background. Turned out crap. I'll work on it

It was for my friends band before i knew what kinda music they were making. And it turned out there stuff wasn't, hmmmmm, 'dark' enough for a poster like this haha.


I however, still like it and yes, even the ridiculous font i created.

Trying to advertise

Way back in December i was playing about with my illustrator and made some nice shapes so i thought i'd make a picture out of it.
Again, the colours arent great, but i managed to get it to Design Center in Covent Garden -



I'm really not into my old stuff any more, but i just wanted to get some colour in this new blog, so i'll post some new stuff im excited about soon.

The colours are too bright, and the shape just looks 'amateurish' - If thats a word.


I do, on the other hand
Like the concept and subject, so when i get time, i will re-draw and re-create this, hopefully with more detail and colour.

First post, always the hardest. Well i'll just tell you a bit about myself:

I'm Alex
I Draw, design, and make fancy colours come out of my mac.
This Blog is a place to keep my stuff all together, apart from my haggard £1.24 Tescos sketch pad - Complete with thin-ass paper.
I'm taking a year out of education, after my A-levels, to work, get some money and get a portfolio together for future career possibilities :DDD

So i'll keep updating, and hopefully get some pretty pictures on here.
